"Reviewed - Decision Pending"

hey guys, so under decision, one of my applications says "Reviewed - Decision Pending"

anyone know what that means?

i don't think its good.

mcgill was a bit of a stretch so its not the end of the world for me.

any thoughts? good or bad?

It shouldn’t be a bad thing. What are your stats?

I’m applying to the faculty of arts, and my status has been “reviewed - decision pending” for the past week. McGill is a big reach for me too, so I think it might mean we’re put in a “maybe” pile?

SAT: 2000 (670,640,690)
GPA (unweighted): 3.78, but with a strong senior year (4.0)

i would love to know: has anyone else gotten accepted with similar stats?
the “decision pending” makes me think that they’re waiting to see the rest of the applicant pool before they decide if we’re a good fit, but has anyone else been admitted after seeing this as their status?

My chances .net (no spaces)

Why do you think McGill is a big reach for you? Your GPA and test scores are a lot higher than their min. requirements.

I have the same thing.

My SATs are 2170 (680, 750, 740) and my unweighted GPA is about 3.72 so I don’t think it’s a bad sign. I’d assume it means you just have to wait for something to come in the mail.

I’ve been decision pending since the 6th of February. I’m really scared.
I got into Toronto for Life Science at St. George’s and I’m American.
But I’ve heard decision pending is supposed to be bad if its over a week. ahh.

My unweighted gpa is about a 3.3 ( with reason)
and my act is a 33.

I dont think its a bad thing, I have the same thing for one faculty; But got accepted into Science with a 3.75 GPA and 35 ACT

I have the same thing for science with even lower stats, 1910 SAT and 3.83 GPA

I got into faculty of arts yesterday. My stats are 2140 SAT (670 cr, 690 m, 780 wr) SAT IIs around 700 and a 3.61 uw gpa (that has not be reevaluated for my first semester of senior year)

^congrats, that’s awesome news for me too
my low GPA i was worried about, a 3.64
