My application status shows this.. is this good or bad?
I know it isint much information but Im so nervous I have to ask.
Has anybody had this before and can tell me something?
How long do they take to answer after this message?

Yeah, i got that 3 days ago and am now nervously checking the page every day, talk about obssessive

“All necessary documents have been received and your application has been reviewed but a decision cannot be made at this time. Most decisions will be made by the decision release deadline posted on our website. For CEGEP students only: We are unable to make a decision until courses in progress have been completed. Please see your decision letter for further details.”
Therefore, it does not mean anything. Please note I had this before being admitted to the program.

Mine has said that for a week now. :|

Aw, I just got mine changed to Reviewed - Decision Pending… I was hoping to hear back today or tomorrow.
Does this mean they think our stats are sub-par? That’s the way I read cesaire’s quote

Isn’t it like a Canadian deferral?

No, most people get it. I had that message for a while and I was accepted… to one out of the two programs I applied to.

hey guys. how long does it usually take after this status to get accepted OR refused??
i just got mine changed to this today, and i am anxiously awaiting. do you think it will help to send it any additional info right now?

i have had Reviewed-Decision Pending for weeks and they had all of my documents waaay before the deadline. just my mid year grades were later on in the process but even those they received on Feb 22, 2010… so i am just getting more and more frustrated/nervous!! I am also an American student but i really don’t think it would make me decision come any slower.

I still have the same status, probably for two weeks now… about the additional info? should we send any? How long do they take to tell you if your refused or accepted once you have this status? and one more question… does everyone get this status? before saying the final decicion or is this good or bad?

Is it better to be in “Reviewed - Decision Pending” or in “Waitlist”

If it shows “Waitlist”, then that is the decision they have made. It is better to be “Decision Pending”

I have had decision pending for about a month, I believe i read they have to make a decision by 3/25 so I’m expecting a change soon

^ oh i really hope so. I am getting so tired of waiting.

Here’s what is on their website. It does say the dates are tentative though.

I’m a us student and i’ve been waiting since February 2nd.

anybody else still with this… lol

Yep. Everything is supposed to be out by the 26th (assuming you’re a US student), so not much longer, I should hope.

I have to wonder, though, if we haven’t received word yet does that mean our likelihood of being admitted is low to nil?

^ that’s what i’m guessing, because they accept by availability it seems (one poster was talking about how science is already filled)

i mean my stats are comparable and even better than some people who have already been accepted, but they still haven’t made a decision on mine…
i’ll be optimistic for tomorrow. i’ve literally been putting off wearing my mcgill shirt for the past 3 months, waiting for my decision.

Just so you guys know, I had “Reviewed - Decision Pending” since they received my midyear report (which was February 23rd). Today, after checking my status for the 345634534th time, I’ve finally been admitted to the Faculty of Arts. So don’t worry if it’s taking a while. I had to wait a full month!
