Revisit Experiences - Decisions 2010

its casual most people wear jeans and sweatpants but i dont know if i should try and look nicer in like a skirt or something?

Wear jeans if you want. Here’s a link to Andover’s Dean of Admission’s message where she explicitly says so, and explains revisits. The latest Phillipian, available online by PDF if not on the Phillipian homepage, has something bout revisits also.

[Phillips Academy - Spring Visits at Andover](http://www.andover.edu/Admission/DeansJournal/Pages/SpringVisitsatAndover.aspx)

Look nicer. Even though you’re already in. Trust me - it will make a long lasting impression. Don’t have to dress formal - but look like you still think it’s an interview and you really care.

If it’s a casual school, just bump it up one notch.

Everyone wore jeans, the students weren’t dressed formally at all. It was fun and informative, now making the long trek home!

oops - my kid is going to kill me when she gets home. We told her to wear a nice tailored skirt and a blouse. If you hear screaming - that will be me running for my life when she gets back. (lol!)

(Although this particular school is more formal and girl are required to wear slacks, skirts or dresses to class so maybe I’ll be okay.) :-)

Luckyam13, my son is a senior at Peddie, he loves it. It is a tight supportive community. His year in the freshmen dorms was a great bonding experience. The upperclassmen went out of their way to be kind and helpful. He and his friends have tried to do the same these last 3 years. The classes were tough, but he loved most of teachers. He has taken many honors and AP classes. Peddie has a reputation for doing very well on AP’s. It does not have the name recognition of L-Ville, but it is a wonderful school. I just dropped him back there this afternoon after 2 days home for Easter. It was such a beautiful day, kids were playing frisbee, spread out on blankets getting sun, tossing balls with some of the faculty kids. It’s very “homey” I’ll be a little sad when he graduates next month!

If anyone has already gone to the revisit day what were people wearing?

clothes

…

2010!!! STOP LYING! You KNOW people don’t wear (of all things) CLOTHES to these kinds of things! sigh

where can i get some of these leaves??? was there a specific brand everyone was wearing??? Do you think its to late to order them online!! do you think pine leaves would be a little immodest? help guys i’m freaking out!

ahah you should get palm tree leaves, they are so rare up North, everybody would be jealous.

No, lol

HOMG! you weren’t there during crazy season!!! when we were posting 80 posts a minute (literally) and Bwoo Ha Ha was invented!!!

YOU MUST BE TRAINED

Bwoo HAHA lol lmao

Rad is definitely somewhat high

NO! thou shalt not repeat the sacred words! its a triangular group between: ME, Tuesdays, and Paula Zaria

AND NO I’M NOT! You’re just jealous! :stuck_out_tongue: This is what happens when I eat candy the day before, its a belated sugar rush if you will so MEH yeah beat that PUNk you can’t XP

Anybody revisit SPS? I already know I’m going I just want to know what the revisit was like :P

I did, I posted about it a few days ago on the SPS thread.

Any one to share revisit experiences for next year applicants? What influenced your school choice among all your options?

I think this is a great idea for a thread, and I hope more kids have the chance to offer their insights and opinions about recent revisit days. Once my son has finished his this week, I’ll ask him to do the same.
