<p>Parent communication:
- Ask to see what a typical grade report looks like.
- Ask how advisers communicate with parents (proactively or when prompted?)</p>
<p>I’m so impressed with the comprehensive report we received from Taft I’ve shown it to our local school district. It was five pages. I received more information about my daughter’s academic and day-to-day life from a school halfway across the country than I got from her former school that was five miles away.</p>
<p>Also - her advisor sends out a periodic email to parents about what’s going on with her advisees on campus. And emails us directly if something is impacting our child’s life.</p>
