How low can you go before they revoke their offer? I got accepted to WUSTL, and I am worry about my current grade. It was very stupid of me by taking 6 courses with a lab. OMG, I want to die!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know anything about, besides calling the admission office (which i did) and get my grades up?

They aren't going to revoke your admission unless you withdraw from a course or get C/D/F's across the board. One C isn't going to kill you, especially if it's in a tough class.

brand, you probably saw my courses for this semester. I just emailed the admissions office again, explaining my situation. I'm Poli sci major and I am currently taking a computer science class. WHAT a mistake that was!!!! On top of that, I have 5 five others courses (3 of which are upper division). I just feel a W from computer science will allow me to concentrate more on other courses.

Brand, do you think a W will affect my admission?

Do not drop the course: sucks to be you, I know, but it clearly states in the acceptance letter "our offer of admission is contigent upon your completion of this semester at your school..." or something to that effect. I've heard from numerous people that withdrawing from a class is a very bad idea and you should take the C or B or whatever. Wait for sure to see what they say in the email, but don't drop it unless you get it in writing (email) that they won't have a problem with it.

in these kinds of situations you shouldnt give them the heads up as another poster said.
I've also heard about the problems with withdrawing and will cast my vote for you to just do you best and not get a D or and F.

hmm yeah i kind of in the same situation, although i have not gotten any official acceptance yet, but i am worried that my gpa this sem will drop from 3.85 to something like 3.2-3.4. i am a freshman transfer from nyu applying to gerogetown btw. any inputs?

terrible idea to even call them in the first place. that just brings more attention to your situation than it would have in the first place. i wouldnt withdraw from the class at this point. a "W" is a huge red flag for adcoms from what ive heard and they are best to avoid. a C isnt going to kill you.
