Revoke admission?

Okay, i'm getting kind of nervous because first semester I had mostly A's and a B. This last semester I haven't been slacking off but i've missed a lot of school due to being really sick. I still did okay though - I got an A, a B in an AP class which I suppose translates to an A, another B (haven't found out officially yet), and a C.

I'm really nervous that having a C or even possibly two C's will cause my admission to be revoked. I heard that a record number of students were turned away this year so that makes things worse. Plus, they won't even tell you if they revoked admission until your about to start school! Should I call them and ask them if they're revoking my admission after i've sent in my transcripts?

You're fine. Relax.

One C can't possibly hurt you, your other grades are more than fine. I think most people know that seniors have a tendency to slack off a bit at the end, as long as you aren't failing your classes or just messing up too bad, you should be fine.

I highly doubt it, but it does not hurt to call. Better to double check than to be kicked out the day after move-in day.

Stop. You're acting ridiculous. Your admission will not be revoked because of one C. Calm down.

that is what someone else said to me, that people get in UW with C's
