I am worried that I might get my admissions revoked because I went from an 80 to a 70 in AP Calc AB. What does it take for AU to revoke admissions, are they harsh?

im wondering the same thing

how strict are they about last semester grades??

im failing 2 classes right now XD

Failing? Honestly, why even post?

obviously because I’m failing

Sorry to sound very “parent-like” but…get some extra help, ask about extra credit…and get your grades up so you don’t have to worry about being rescinded…

Nouri – I dropped from an 82 to a 71 in my last semester of Calculus BC, though my other grades remained good. (Infinite series really sank me.) AU did not rescind my scholarship or my admission.

You’re fine.

Thank You mukraker, I feel better. Do you know what is the criteria for getteing rescinded at AU though?

I don’t, but I would imagine it would have to be a large departure from what your grades were previously. You can probably call the Office of Admissions if you’re curious.

This is kind of funny :p. (Not your situation cuz I’m sort of in the same place.) But many of the people posting on CC who are worried about having their acceptance revoked are getting C’s in some sort of AP calc for the second semester. Myself included lol. I’m just choosing not to worry about it…I don’t think a C will do too much damage. If it were an F, I would start worrying.

I emailed the admissions office and they replied saying that its okay if you have one F and as song as your senior grades arent full of Ds and Fs you dont need to worry.

khsstitches i took your advice and I dont think I’m endanger of Failing any classes now XD

Call me crazy, but have you thought about just working to pull the grades up a little?

Oh, good Someone takes my advice!!! LOL! You’ll do fine. Good luck at AU.
