Hey,

I went in today to check my status on myapplication.com

For the housing and hep b shot boxes, it says...

exception: java.lang.Exception: BusinessObjectFactory :java.lang.NullPointerException

Anyone else getting this? It's worrying me so bad.

it did the exact same thing to me this morning but it is fine now. i think they were just updating stuff. i would check again tomorrow to see if it is normal again.

BusinessObjectFactory :java.lang.NullPointerException

just means that the certain null was processed as an array and should be fixable with a refresh or simple reopening of the browser.

i just logged in and that is what i see

Or if it's happening to everyone--like it seems--then it's a problem with the server directory. One path isn't loading so it's creating an exception error for a certain field.

No need to worry about this, guys.

Thank you for the quick replies.

exception: java.lang.Exception: BusinessObjectFactory :java.lang.NullPointerException

Hahaha uhh last time I checked that doesn't translate into english as being rescinded.

Sure it does.

NullpointerException means better luck next year.

Honestly, I hope to never be in any classes with you head cases...

Well, excuse us for not being up to date on all the Java terms.

actually, anchor, you SHOULD hope to be in classes with them.

remember: CURVED grading!

"Well, excuse us for not being up to date on all the Java terms."

You think UCSD would notify you of being rescinded via a cryptic java statement?

^^Hahahaha.

Hey, who knows. It could've meant that your UCSD page, representing your acceptance, has been redefined as an array pointing to null.

Yea that is a totally plausible situation..
