i got a D in my speech class? Do i have a high chance of getting revoked? If it matters i was admitted on a full scholarship, I'm black, and already didn't have the best GPA. As well as that I still had above a 3.0 GPA that semester. I'm trying to figure out if i should go the distance to get the teacher to change it or if it would be a waste of my time. Thanks in advance!

if there is a possibility to change it then try and have it changed to a C atleast. If not contact Admissions immediately. Better for you tell them about getting a D than having them find out when your high school sends your final transcript to them.

The thing about it is I told them I got it. Then I told them I changed it to a C because I talked to the teacher before spring break and said she’d change it that day, but when i emailed her she said I was mistaken and that she had never said that. Because this happened I’ve been working in over drive trying to change her mind mainly through emails but on Monday I can see her in person and hopefully talk it out, but if she doesn’t let up I don’t know what to do =/.

well if u told admissions it was changed to a C but in the end it will be a D. You are going to have to tell them that it’s a D. Then you kind of have to hope. I don’t know what constitutes to the decision of being rescinded or not in UCI

Alright, thanks!

If you read the rescind policy, it claims you can’t get multiple D’s or F’s during your senior year. I mean, you still have to report the D and claim why it happened and whatnot, but it’s not like colleges like UCSD/UCLA/UCB, where just one D or F gets you rescinded. Just don’t get one more and you should be good.
