What will it take for Georgetown to revoke an acceptance? I just took all of my finals, and there is a good chance that I failed my statistics class this term. If not, I will be lucky to have a C (our grades go A, B, C, NR(fail)). Third quarter I had all A's, and the rest of my grades fourth quarter are A's, and maybe one B.

Is there any way they will still let me come next year?

I just got accepted, but all the cases I've heard of from my school (kid got warned by Yale last year to boost his Math grade, and a kid got warned by Princeton a few years ago about the general decline of grades in third quarter) but I think that your stellar high-school grades should make up for one bad grade senior year. Wish you the best.

GO HOYAS CLASS OF 09'

I had a friend that got a D in Chem 2nd semester senior year, but had an A in AP Physics and Calc BC, they did tell him though, that he HAD to pass Chem if not they would revoke it. Good Luck, and hakuna matata! (immature but appropriate)

Getting a C is one thing,. failing, yikes. You may be just fine. You my get that C. If so, no worries.

When do you get your grade and what has teacher said. Is there anyway to do some extra work so you can at least pass the class? Go in Monday and find out. Maybe, teacher will be generous if you don't go in asking for special faovrs, just asking if there is something you can do to bring up grade.

Good luck@@@

I don't know how it happened, but I ended up with a B for the semester! Apparently he had to scale everyone's grades by like 20 points, because everyone did so badly. I feel like an idiot now for freaking out about it.

freaking out is okay as long as you don't break anything!! I deserve a cookie:
