revoking admission

I am worried about my second semester grades. Does NU care about C's or just D's and F's. Right now, I have all A's except for 2 C's (one AP class, the other not). I'm hoping they dont consider that a "significant" drop in performance.

any feedback would be appreciated. thanks!

oh and by the way, i was accepted into the school of music that i assume was based mainly on my audition. comparing my gpa/sat scores etc etc to those that were accepted to weinberg/medill/anything non-music, i guess i lucked out. so hopefully they will be flexible with my final transcript as they seemed to have been with my admittance.

If you already had a couple of C's on your transcipt....i'm sure you could argue that there was no significant drop in you grade....

However, if you had all A's and B's....C's could be pretty dangerous. I know a couple of kids at my school who got dropped from harvard and berkeley for getting C's on their final transcipt....

I think you should really talk to the teachers and try to raise those grades through extra credit projects or something to ensure that you'll be going to NU this fall...;-)

They say that any 8th semester grades that are significantly below what the candidate demonstrated during the admissions season will usually earn a review. So keep doing what you been doing.

How about Bs? I had straight A's all through high school except in one class freshman year... but, I may get up to 4 B's with the rest A's. No C's, D's or F's or anything like that but it is below my usual so you think they will care?

I don't think they'll care about B's.
