Rhodes College?!?!?

Rhodes is my number one choice. I am from New York and was wondering if i would fit in. I work hard but party harder. I definitely want to join a sorority, which one is the most fun? Or does the most stuff? Are the people at rhodes nice? How are the dorms? Whats the best frat?! HELP!

The best way to figure out if you’ll fit in is to come visit, hopefully overnight if you can swing it. The admissions office can set that up for you. Tell them you’d like to stay with a student host who is a greek member.

Once you get to campus in the fall, you’ll go through rush a couple of weeks after you arrive. There are a bunch of events that are supposed to let you and the houses get to know one another. I don’t know exactly how it works for the women, but basically you get to specify your preference, the chapters specify their preferences, and the chapters and new members get matched up as closely as possible.

I think the people at Rhodes are really nice. @Orions being a possible exception. The dorms are nice but nothing special as dorms go these days. You’ll get to visit a room if you come do a campus tour.
