You don’t need to be perfect to get into Rice. My essays had many errors, my scores were somewhat mediocre, and my GPA was not perfect. However, I tried to give them a glimpse of who I really am, and it paid off!

I was Waitlisted with a 3.4 GPA and 2200 SAT. I’m from Houston. I was honestly expecting to be rejected but now I’m really hoping Rice comes through as it is my #1. But now I have to wait till after May 1st to know where I’m going for sure…

Does anyone know how to accept a spot on the waitlist?
