Does anyone have insight into how generous Rice is on financial aid? Scores and class ranking are strong, but so is income.

Unlike most peer colleges in top tier, Rice atleast has some merit scholarships though you have to be a highly accomplished applicant to qualify. That’s why its attractive for studends who can’t afford full pay at ivies but doesn’t qualify for financial aid due to parental income. Those students often pick Rice over Ivies and top LACs to avoid debt. Financial aid is better than colleges who claim to be most generous.
