Is rice a popular food at Rice university in the campus dining regions?

I had some rice in the sid rich cafeteria when i visited for owl-weekend (sid rich is notorious for bad cafeteria food) and it was disgusting (think of all the things that could be wrong with rice and that is what I was served.)

oh the irony....i'm not sure if it's popular but i'm sure rice will be served.

There's lots of rice at Rice. Probably because it's cheap.... If you like sticky rice, you'll love it. I really like it. But I'm not a picky eater.

It was a common irony that a place named Rice couldn't make great rice. Of course, you'll find the food to be hit-or-miss in general... but it's not any worse than at other schools.

im so hungry, I love rice, spicy rice, mexican rice, man Im hungry

let's all go eat some rice!

gosh all this talk about rice and sticky rice makes me want some sushi....

I have no clue where that came from - out of the clear blue sky

guys, u gotta admit, I started a quality, unique thread.

Wow, sid rich has awful food? I'm in it...anyone know any other cafeterias close by where I can get some more decent fare?

By the way...sticky rice rules!

Yeah, the Hanszen/Wiess cafeteria's pretty good.

(Sid isn't thaaaaat bad.)

It really is that bad... I got sick after eating like a fork full of rice and a bite of the salmon. Weiss has a good cafeteria.

LOL. I ate there for four years, and I ain't dead. =)
