Hi people,
I know that the Rice architecture program is for 6 years. 4 years BA in Architecture and 2 years BArch. I am currently pursuing my BA in architecture. Is it possible for me to attend the 2 year BArch program in Rice. Or is it only for Rice students?
Btw, I study in Cardiff University in England and (not to brag) am a pretty good student. I want to attend Rice because I feel that studying architecture in an American univeristy will benefit me and I think (correct me if I am wrong) Rice is the only american university with a BA in architecture and a BArch.

From the Rice website:

Please note that the School of Architecture does not typically admit transfer students. If you have questions about admission to the School of Architecture, contact them directly at (713) 348-4864 or arch@rice.edu.

The school has a very set curriculum. As Berkeleymom posted, they do not often accept transfers. I do not know anyone who has transferred in.
