From looking at past year's threads, it seems that the Rice/Baylor decisions are emailed the day after RD. Would it be safe to assume that we should be expecting an e-mail today, or perhaps Monday if they don't send stuff over the weekend?

Anyways, I figured I'd start a thread for all of us hopefuls. Judging from many of my classmates and cc/other websites, it seems like this was a particularly tough year for admissions. If they did accept a very low amount of people and intend to use the waitlist freely, this could be a very good thing for anyone who applied Rice/Baylor.

It seems like they send out both interview invite and rejection emails, so if we didn’t get anything yet (I haven’t…) I’m going to assume they haven’t decided yet. Hopefully we’ll all know in the next few days! Flight tickets to Texas are expensive so I hope I find out asap so I can arrange that…
For those of you who got interview already, does it overlap with Owl Days (April 12-13)? I really want to go to that, but my parents want to wait until I find out about Rice/Baylor to plan to go to it…

same boat as you ferredoxin… extremely expensive and I am far from Rice so my parents have ruled out Rice FOR ME unless the Rice/Baylor comes for me…even tho i secretly want to go to Rice anyway… GAH

Same boat as both of you, want to wait for Rice/Baylor to decide on Owl days. It sounds like only 1 person has heard about interviews ( I have not received an e-mail saying I got an interview or was rejected) did anyone else get an e-mail today from Rice/Baylor??

I don’t know. I really don’t know what to think at the moment because I need all my financial aid packages before I can effectively rank them That, and lately, I’ve been a little more lost as to what I want to major in and whether I want to (or can) go into medicine.

D got R/B invitation on 3/26 but she got accepted into Stanford, Princeton, Columbia, Brown … so she gave up her interview spot today so that one of you could be invited. Good luck everyone!
