well the letter says the apps must be received by the 23rd and any apps received by this time will be considered.

any hope that they'll consider mine?

I dunno, the letter was pretty clear.

You guys double spaced the essays, right? And do you know how many Baylor applications are received..? Thanks

I didn't double space... they gave us such little room on the application anyways.

there is no specifications..i actually squeezed mine in to get everything i wanted in it :D

Can we fax it in? I'm done but there's no way it will make it in the mail.

And I don't think they will throw out all those received 1 day after..

Idk man...do you still wanna find out...call them and ask if they have a fax number...make it happen...i would think they would be leniant but i cant speculate

About three or four of this year's fifteen Rice/Baylors are also Century Scholars, so it's not by any means a majority (aka you don't have to be interested in research to get admitted). I would say that in terms of scholarship, nearly all of the Rice/Baylors are receiving some sort of $$ from Rice - don't know for sure, but that's just my guess.

who knows what they are looking for at this point. Like someone said before we can only speculate. I just want to wish everybody luck! We can only pray that we are one out of every five to be invited for an interview.

Twinkletar-How many females vs. males are in the program? Do they try to make it 50-50.?

yes you can fax it in. i did that with mine today. and no, i didnt double space but actually had it single space with 11 point font (times new roman)

yea i did ten and didnt doublespace and glued it on it. thats great that u can fax it...i be ur relieved ah? good luck everybody...we can only pray we get an interview

The USPS lost my application! I overnighted it on the 22nd and it ended up in the wrong zip code in Houston. My address was copied correctly because I have the receipt. What can I do?

Can someone please post the exact wording of the questions on the application so that I can fax it in/mail it in. I never made a copy of the original app (my stupid mistake).

When you fax, all you need to include is your name and social security number (on all pages). That's what they said when i called.

I contacted Rice and they gave me the option to email or fax. I've decided to err on the side of safety and submitted via both options. I really hope that one of the two works out.

Stupid USPS! How can you mistake zip code 77251 for 77001?

Hey, I know that people in R/B don't have to take the MCAT, but I'm curious as to what the GPA requirements are, both science and overall. Thanks!

i believe you can pretty much have any major while u satisfy the premed requirements or perhaps just any major and keep an overall 3.2 as your GPA
