Rice\Baylor program??

So I've submitted my supplement for the program in December...when do they send out first cut-offs ?

you won’t hear anything until after the Regular Decision students have been accepted to Rice. If I recall correctly, I heard about the interview in late March/early April.

late March? But the RD applicants get their decisions on April 2nd.

It says April 1st on the website, but last year they released decisions on March 23.

I’m predicting Monday.

i agree with torcher however I would not be surprised if they released decisions on tuesday instead.

A person I know called the office and he was told that final deicisions will be out on the week of March 29th. So I doubt it’ll be Monday lol

They may have just said that just in case/safety net. Previous years, there have been cases when people called and they said April 1 when in fact, they released decisions an hour later. I’m still hoping for Monday/Tuesday release.

@GotRice

Decisions for R/B or just Rice?

Sorry to be so uninformed, but what is the Rice/Baylor program? Is it med school following 4 years as an undergrad? (like Brown’s PLME?) Good luck everyone!

^Yes, it is.

@ Torcher, R/B

Limabeans: R/B is somewhat like Brown–an 8 year program with a conventional 4 years of undergrad. The primary difference is that the overwhelming majority of Brown Medical School students are PLME, whereas only about 15 of 160+ members of each Baylor College of Medicine class are from the Rice/Baylor program.

^lol love the username…

looks like decisions for R/B won’t be coming out 'til next week haha

Sigh. I’m so tired of waiting…

R/B “prelim” decisions seem to be really late this year. This sort of sucks, because there a 50-50 chance the interviews will be on prom weekend at my school…

hmmm… now that Rice decisions are out, I wonder when Rice/Baylor interviews go out

+1, I was wondering the exact same thing. Separate emails? Because all you can get on Esther is finaid/financial award details.

Can you actually see how much you are awarded?
