Looking for feedback on Rice Business school for undergrad. Do not see much traction on Rice business program. So curious.D wants to do business with CS minor.
Rice doesn’t have a n undergraduate business program.
From a very quick check of the school’s website it appears that Rice only offers a business minor at the undergrad level.
Most top universities including Harvard, Yale, Princeton and Rice don’t offer undergraduate business majors. They would instead expect students to obtain a deeper and more focused major like economics, accounting, or international relations and then enter an MBA program to “top up” their substantive undergraduate knowledge with sound business principles.
Among the strong schools that do offer undergraduate business majors are Penn, MIT, Berkeley, Michigan, Carnegie Mellon, NYU, UT-Austin, UNC, and Virginia.
Didn’t know think on these lines earlier.Thank you !
At Rice students can pair a Computer Science major with a business minor. Rice has a very good MBA program but not an undergraduate major. https://business.rice.edu/academic-program/undergraduate-business-minor
Top investment banks hire Rice students. They don’t care if you majored in finance in undergrad, just that you’re super smart and a critical thinker.
