<p>Well I live in Texas and I would really like to be an electrical engineer or something along those lines. I am in the top 5% of my class (30 out of 607). I got a 4.0 gpa (not A+'s.. just A's). I took 12 AP's with 4's and 5's on all. I received a 2180 on my SATI (760/670/750) (m/cr/wr), which was the highest in my class(not sure if that helps!). I work about 18-24 hours a week at the local grocery store. I have 40 or so hours of volunteer work. My ecs aren't great.. NHS, NM commended, YoungRepub.. How good are my chances at Rice? What about if I apply ED?</p>
<p>Your stats put you in range to get in. Bumping up your SAT could always help. How were your SAT subject tests?</p>

<p>Doesn’t really matter. Rice will get your score and your percentile while tells them how you did relative to the rest of the test takers.</p>
