Rice ED notification time?

<p>The website just says "Mid-December." I would assumed Dec 15, but does anybody know more specifically?
Also does anybody know if they send an e-mail or a letter, or if it is on the portal that they had us sign up for?

<p>The notification will come via email. Keep in mind that with the CA problems, that there was a delay. Therefore ED will probably be delayed. Expect something probably toward the end of the week.</p>

<p>It’s possible that they get released this Friday. Yes, historically they say the 15th but last year the 15th was on a saturday, so the decisions were posted on Friday the 14th. But also remember there was a week of delays this time, so maybe it’ll be next week that we know the decisions. I guess it’s just a waiting game!</p>

<p>I believe Rice also extended ED applications by a week last year due to Hurricane Sandy (so this is similar to this years delay due to Common App). :)</p>
