What do you think of this essay? Any corrections I should make? Do you think it is good enough for this short answer?

1.Please briefly elaborate on one of your extracurricular activities or work experiences. (150 word limit)

Being in the saddle is the one place I feel truly content. I dont ride for the blue ribbons (although those are definitely a plus!), but for the happiness it brings me. The feeling of two powerful minds linking together in an impenetrable, unperceivable bond of fellowship is what drives me to ride. It definitely isnt easy, but for every time that I tumble to the ground, bruising my back and pride in one fell swoop, there is a time where it clicks; we fly over the jumps not as horse and rider, but as one.

1) Don’t post essays, others can easily steal them.
2) Anyone could write that essay. It says nothing about you except that you like riding horses, and sometimes you fall and sometimes you don’t.

I think its interesting, well-written and tells a little about your character. Not bad for 150 words. I think the blue ribbon mention is extraneous if they’re mentioned elsewhere.

I like it. Get a list of powerful words and see if you can improve it through different choices of words. You want your reader to envy your experiences so that they imagine themselves in your place.

Yeah, I didn’t think about the dangers of posting the essay - thanks. I had been planning on getting some feedback and then deleting the post, but then I realized you can’t delete your posts on this website apparently. I just created an account yesterday, so I didn’t realize. I hope no one copies it!
