Submitted on Feb12th, haven’t heard back yet
Rejected. If I were accepted I would have declined, so it’s good that the spot goes to someone else. 
I didn’t receive an email, but I checked my application status and in the middle of the page there was a yellow box with an update. If you click on “View Update” you see your decision letter.
@newbee18 are you waitlisted as well?
@Miyamoto No I never heard my decision. That’s why I was frantically asking about the email time and submission date. Everything was checked green on March 12th. Hopefully I find out in the next round.
@newbee seems like they don’t follow the date of completeness cuz all my materials were complete by Feb 25th but those received decision submitted mostly later than me
@rvyuan that’s what I was thinking also. I wonder why though?
Ugh waitlisted. 
Does anyone know what the chances are of getting off the waitlist? Like can you stand a good chance by achieving high final grades or should I basically lose all hope?

@newbee18 If u don’t mind me being frank, those who haven’t received decision but submitted quite early should be ones they are still debating over or they wanna see how many “top choices” of them pay deposit eventually. Only my personal opinion, sorry about any offense caused.
Rejected – Knew it already.
GPA 3.2 --> unusual circumstances explained in personal statement. Got a letter about a “through holistic review taken seriously --> strong applicant pool (etc.).” To all accepted, HAVE FUN! You’ll do well regardless.
Haven’t received anything, either. I have a bad feeling about this cuz last year those who got admitted recieved their decision in April and those who were rejected got the letter in mid May. However, as I am informed, they did not send rejection and waitlist this early so I wonder if their admission policy and progress has changed
Is the release date going to be weekly or no?
don’t know, but it was not weekly last year,. however it seems that they make a little change of the admission routin each year so we may expect to have something this Friday.

Rice requests final report from waitlisted applicants, but I’m in an Australian college. The results will probably come out in mid or late July

Nope I haven’t. I’d assume probably tomorrow? I actually sent an email inquiring if the decisions were going to be released weekly or biweekly. However, I have not received a reply yet. If anyone knows something or have heard something regarding admissions please share. Until then let’s be positive and trust in God.
@ab1omo23 @newbee18 When I asked about the number of students on the waitlist, I got this reply from the Assistant Director of Admission:
“It is impossible for me to say how many students were offered a spot on the waitlist or how many are currently on the waitlist as our decisions for transfer students are rolling and therefore we are still in the process of evaluating applications.”
I hope this reveals something that makes you feel less anxious.
