<p>Rice Financial Aid Application: Do you need to use CSS or FAFSA or both?</p>

<p>I applied RD and I am kinda confused about the financial aid application to Rice. On their website it mentions CSS and FAFSA with different due dates. Can anybody out there maybe explain the process in a few easy steps.</p>

<p>If you look at the calendar. They both have to be submitted by March 1st. </p>

<p>You just have to REGISTER for CSS before January 2nd.</p>

<p>They both are required.</p>
