Rice good for electrical engineering?

Just received offers from both Rice and GATECH. Which one is better for EE? Rice seems to rank higher but GATECH is also an amazing engineering college. Any ideas? Will Rice's small size have disadvantages in career fair, alums and research opportunities.

Did you early at Rice?

You got in?! are you a grad student? how did you hear before the 15?!

ahhh…I am so curious!!!..shouldn’t we find out the decision on 15th?

how did you get in to both? You cannot do ED to multiple schools.

Something sounds fishy here.

I’m int’l. Gatech is EA, so~

SORRY…I am int’l,too…Are u undergraduate?

which means if you get into ED, you have to go there. So there is no decision

did u recieve ur ad through a Fed Ex package? There is still one or two days to wait… how did u make it?

@BTCFLYER: I hope you aren’t pranking us. That would be mean. So, if you are accepted to Rice, congrats to you. Did you receive financial aid? If the financial aid offer is not enough then you can decline the ED offer, but that is the only reason I know of. If you aren’t CRAZY in LOVE with RICE, please don’t take up a spot for someone who is in LOVE with RICE…

I get the feeling that this is more ■■■■■■■■ instead of pranking.

You cannot withdraw ED for any reason other than Financial aid. Which renders the entire point of ‘Which is a better school for EE’ moot. As is the whole thread about career fairs.

The only way this is possible, is if this was grad school. Except btcflyer is listed as 18 years old (Date of Birth June 15, 1992 ) [See http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/members/btcflyer-437059.html</a> ]

As for Rice, they don’t give out decisions 4 days early (as far as I know.)
