<p>Man, I was deferred. I am a prime example of why college admissions is such a crapshoot in regards to the top 25 universities. I was accepted to the University of Chicago but deferred by Rice. The thing is I really want to get into their 8 year Med program. Does anyone have any advice how I can improve my decisions for the next round?</p>

<p>Browns, if you're just interested in the Rice/Baylor program, you have to be admitted in the ED or ID rounds, not RD.</p>
