thanks

kitkat, what school do u go to? LOL i might know u!

I have really similar stats, and am applying to pretty much the same set of colleges (plus or minus a few). So my opinions may be a little bit biased. =P

I feel that people with stats like ours applying to that caliber of schools need to either A) show lots of interest in the school (ie, visit them, call them, send them notes, befriend a professor), or B) do something that will set us apart from other applicants. That could be placing well at a debate TOC Qualifier or NFL nationals, winning some award for computer programming, doing something notable over summer break, or writing a truly top-notch application essay. Perhaps some schools like NW would require a combination of many of those things.

Good luck

Is knowing a professor/dean at rice (my dream school) a really really GOOD thing?
