<p>this may sound like a dumb question, but i really want to know: has anyone gotten a rice sweatshirt or Tshirt in the mail? some of my friends who got ED into other schools have, but i haven't...or does rice just not send them?</p>
<p>I was admitted ED to Rice and didnt receive a sweatshirt or T-shirt in the mail… I live in Houston, so in order to get a Rice hoodie I’d gone personally to the RU School Store.</p>
<p>Rice doesn’t give you anything by mail, but I’ve heard you get a shirt and other stuff if you go to owl days</p>
<p>You will get a whole wardrobe of Rice t-shirts during your freshman year. Trust me.</p>
<p>I got 16 free t-shirts during my freshman year. For reals.</p>
<p>(given, you have to go to stuff, ex. five of those are from football/basketball/tennis games)</p>
<p>But nothing in the mail.
I know that it is a looooong, boring, slow wait after you are accepted ED until you receive interesting mail (inviting you to Owl Days, etc.) or find out the important stuff (like your roommate and your residential college.) That’s just the way it works…
