<p>It says most applicants respond in 2-3 double spaced pages. I have a 500 word essay, and it's obviously too short. But it seems stupid to needlessly extend my essay. Why would the adcom want to read more?
Is it okay if I just go with my 1.5 page essay?</p>
<p>I think as long as it’s a well-written essay and it responds to the prompt as fully as possibly then the length shouldn’t really matter. 2-3 pages is more of a suggestion than a guideline.</p>
<p>Mine was 1.5 double-spaced pages too, so I think you’re fine.</p>
