Rice is a great school, but what about its neuroscience major? I’m also interested in psychology and philosophy. I can’t find much rankings online. If you don’t believe in rankings, what are your thoughts on that major?
The neuroscience major is pretty new. They only had a minor when my daughter started in CogSci in '13, and she was part of the Neuroscience Society that pushed for the major. I can’t remember what year it became available, but not in time for her class. (Although of course there has always been plenty of neuroscience coursework and research available there - just not structured as its own major.) So it may just not have a long enough history to be “ranked” anywhere.
