<p>Question: does Rice actually announce beforehand (even before email/ESTHER) when it releases decisions?</p>

<p>EDIT: and @Tristesse, Rice’s official announcement (on ESTHER and the website) is that the decisions roll out on April 1, but the Vision kids said they were told the 20th.</p>
<p>All colleges need to release dates ahead of time so stuff like this doesn’t happen. Waiting and not knowing the date is worse than waiting and knowing the date</p>

<p>According to the Future Owls page, there will be an online chat for regular decision admitted students on the 27th of March. Therefore, the decisions will be released on or before the 27th.</p>

<p>I can’t see the admissions counselors staying in the office past 7pm central.</p>
<p>Is there even a slight possibility that it would come out at 7:30 central?</p>

<p>The adcoms won’t be doing squat. It would just be an automated sendout, unlocking the stuff at the specified time.</p>
<p>Unless they want to give everyone a chance to receive admission letters before the chat…</p>
<p>Well, I guess I should probably get started on all the work I was putting off until after decisions did or didn’t come out today. Lol
I’m pulling for Thursday or Friday of this week! If there’s an online chat for RD admits next Tuesday, I think they’d probably announce it before the weekend. Or next Monday. Either one.</p>
