<p>applied EA to Taylor Gang and Ball So Hard University. Accepted to both, but I like to keep my options open, I love Rice too.</p>
<p>I applied REA to Stanford but I wasn’t accepted. Right now I’m considering Vanderbilt heavily and will have to make a tough decision between the two if Rice accepts me with merit money. I’m like both schools but I’m going to have to wait until Rice’s letter.</p>
<p>Apoc i know what you mean. I’m extremely worried about the cost, because Rice isnt like WashU and doesn’t have any merit aid to apply for. I’m middle class, and so i don’t think the fafsa is going to score my family much money. I’m hoping for some form of scholarship because my family can’t comfortably pay for the EFC w/o selling our house, and I have a younger sister. Do any current Rice students attend on a scholarship who are middle class? GAKK Rice is my first choice and I hope they can help me attend! Not trying to be dramatic haha, I just need the godam decisions to come out XDD</p>

<p>I applied to MIT through Questbridge, and MIT contacted me directly after I wasn’t accepted anywhere through QB. They asked if I would be okay going into their ED pool, and it was my number one, so I was really happy. They said no, so that really crushed my dream. I’m trying not to think about any of my other admission decisions now, because not getting in to MIT really hurt. I don’t want to get my hopes up, Y’know?

I was born in India but have lived here in Ohio for most of my life…GO BUCKEYES sorry I’ll be a fan till I die! Hope to meet all of you at O-week. and is it just me or do you guys wake up everyday and immediately start wondering if your going to get your accpetance letter today? <p>Because that’s how they all do it. They like to surprise us. I remember that for Stanford REA, they always said December 15th then on December 9th early in the morning they said to expect the decision today. So it’s a surprise thing I suppose.</p>

<p>Valerieplame, you’re not alone. Today’s my b-day and I’m hardly celebrating from how anxious I am. Getting accepted would be the best birthday present EVER! I can’t focus on my school stuff either. And yup, I’m thinking about whether I’ll get in like every ten minutes.</p>
