The ED message boards are not a sign of decisions being released. They are a sign that they finally got the problem fixed. Those invitations were supposed to go out March 1st!</p>
<p>Woops, my bad then, I just thought it was interesting that this email would come out the supposed day before decisions.</p>

<p>Yeah, that would be silly of them to give it to URM’s first and would be seen as a questionable practice. Hopefully it is tomorrow, I am sure Rice wouldn’t lie to VISION attendees. Is everyone else’s Esther down?</p>
<p>@Apoc314, From last year’s decision thread it appears that if you applied for financial aid, then you will be able to see if you received a merit scholarship online. If you didn’t apply for financial aid, it looks as though you may have to wait for the snail mail.</p>

<p>Esther always gives me issues. I wrote a great essay for Rice-one of my best. But that’s probably still not enough to overlook my terrible SAT scores. It’s nice to dream though.</p>

<p>Hmm…well, I think I would feel that I had a decent shot if I had an SAT score of 2150 or above. It depends on the gpa, ec’s, essays, etc. though.</p>
