IDK about y’all, but my HS limits the number of days I can miss and still exempt my exams. I can only be gone 2 days for college visits.
My last day of class is May 8th. If I can’t exempt my exams, I will have to take them during the second AP exam week. The exams in AP classes will be old AP exams, so I would basically be taking 8 AP exams and 1 IB exam in a week.
I just wanted to explain why I care so much when decisions are released.
sometimes, the admission process does matter to applicant’s decision. i also applied to a canadian school. although they have a by april decision date. but i have received the results in Feb. and what’s more, there is a personal handwriting note in the package from the dean of the department i applied to. and it’s specially written to me because it mentioned a few activities in my application. i am really touched.
i applied to rice because of the fee waiver application. and later i researched it and feels that it’s a really good school.
but the wait is really exhausting and tiring.
