i know my rank is bad but i was wonderng if anyone knows if my ec’s or anything can make up for that? how far of a stretch is it really?

GPA 3.65 UW/ 5.33 W
SAT with writing 2090/SAT II: Chemistry: 720 Math Level 2: 730 and I might take spanish with listening (I’ll get at least 770)
ACT with essay: 31
AP’s: 4’s on Chem/H.Geo/Psychology/English and 5 on Spanish Lang
My EC’s… 4 years of Tennis (JV/Varsity levels), 4 years of Debate and Speaking (Two years as Club Secretary), reaching the state level in LD two years in a row and planning on doing it my senior year too, UIL Extemporaneous speaking district finalist, Student Council President and 4 year member (Junior class Secretary and Executive President my senior year), DECA International qualifier and placing among the top 10% internationally and im in National Honor Society

I also have an older brother there now and my uncle got his bachelors there/ I visit a LOT
… Any ideas are welcome!

A quick internet search indicates that Rice has a tennis team. Are you good enough to compete Div 1? If so, you should email asap (and meet, if possible) the coach and fill out a (on-line?) recruitment form. It’s late in the game (pardon the pun), but it could be worth a shot. You’d probably have to apply ED as a recruited athlete.
