Good afternoon! I attend Oklahoma State University and am currently a sophomore. My major is Political Science with a minor in Russian. My GPA is 3.8 and I’ve held a few leadership positions on campus: Wentz Community Council Senator, Residence Hall Association Senator, External Budget Committee Member, and History Club Advisory Board… I’m in the honors college and will be studying abroad in Almaty, Kazakhstan this summer to strengthen my language! (My dream is to become a Foreign Service Officer!) I’m also hoping to publish a paper this year to NYU’s “All the Russias” blog! I wonder, what would it take for me to be accepted next fall at Rice University? What would you recommend me doing? Is there any chance?
P.S. My Russian professor is a previous Rice professor! Would a letter of recommendation from him aid the process?
