Rice vs. Northwestern vs. Emory

Hello everyone,
I have two questions regarding my college selection:

I have been offered admission to Northwestern, Rice, Emory, and Boston College. I am currently interested in studying economics and/or international relations. Which one out of the four would be the best choice for me? It would be most ideal if the school is strong in both, but if not, please tell me which one is strong in which.

I have also been waitlisted for dartmouth, duke, cornell, georgetown, johns hopkins, and washington university in st.louis. Considering my interests in economics and I.R., which one should I choose to remain on the waitlist?

Thanks in advance. I really appreciate your help.

Have a great weekend everyone.

^^^^sorry, maybe I missed it, but is there a rule that you can only remain on the waitlist of one school?

i was actually wondering about that too… Can someone answer this? Also, if I come off the waitlist, does that mean I am automatically committed to that school?

But, I think it makes more sense to say that I can choose to remain on multiple waitlists…

Thanks!

the answer is that you should remain in all the waiting lists provided that the schools in the waiting lists are preferred or at least even with the schools that you were admitted…

and remember that it is possible that the schools in the waiting lists might come up with more financial aid
