Hawkette, since Michigan and UVA offer Business majors to undergraduate students, it is natural to assume that most students interested in working in Wall Street will gravitate to their higly regarded Business school. Even then, the Collegs of Engineering and LSA also place many undergrads in major Wall Street firms. Working 80-hour weeks in NYC just isn't everybody's dream. No matter what the university, only a fraction of the students are in fact interested in becoming IBankers or Management Consultants. The fact that Michigan and UVA place hundreds of their students into those exclusive Wall Street firms annually is actually very impressive, even when you factor in the size of those universities. Do not downplay their achievement. Only a handful of universities around the nation can boast of placing so many students Wall Street.

Everything said seems true.

Since you don't care about weather, location, and most importantly size, i'll sum my opinion up very briefly:

For your own intellectual growth and enjoyment, Rice.
For a good paying job, Michigan.
For a little of both, UVA.

Am I off?

What are you planning to major in, iamnice?

Not really sure about what I'll major in...
But I guess I will double major in economics and political science(maybe international relations) I guess.
Thanks for asking me.=)

UVA, all the way!! that's where i'm going =)
