Rice vs. UVa (Echols)

I am so lucky to have been accepted to these schools! I’m a prospective humanities major, and want an academic environment in which students are engaged but also aren’t afraid to have a good time.

Socially, academically, etc, which is the better option? Rice offered me a half tuition scholarship while UVa offered me virtually nothing.

Even if they were the same price I’d pick Rice over UVa. But at half-tuition? Easy choice.

Agree with @insanedreamer. Echols makes it tougher choice but I’d still pick Rice.
