Rice?

I figured I'd give this a shot. I'm a white girl from DC and I go to a competitive boarding school. Chances for Rice?
SAT: 2230. 800 W, 680 M, 750 CR
ACT: 34, the only subscore I remember is 36 on science.
SAT2: 690 MII, 790 USH

GPA: 4.0 unweighted (it's actually 95.4/100), my school does not weight GPAs or offer honors courses.
Rank: No ranks or academic awards/honors. I have to be one of the top students though, there are only 7 or so students with 4.0 GPAs.

Courses: I didn't have many choices for AP courses because not many are offered (it's a small school) but I've tried to have a courseload that would be both rigorous and interesting. I got a 5 on the AP US exam and an A+ in the class, I'm currently taking AP Physics and AP Calc AB. I have 4 years of math, 5 years of science, 4 years of language, 4 years of english, 3 of history and 2 of art.
National Merit Scholar Commendation
I took a Topics in Anthropology: Forensics course at UMD, got an A and earned 3 credits.

Extracurriculars: 4 fall theater productions (all plays), three big roles and one lead.
4 winter musical productions, three speaking/singing roles (not ensemble)
3 years of technical theater, two as head lighting designer and carpenter
10 years of club swimming, 2 season-long girls high point awards
Research assistant at the US Geological Survey in a hydrology lab
Intern in the US House of Representatives
Year-long community service initiative at a working organic farm
Active in Gay-Straight Alliance
Part-time job teaching kid's swim lessons
Resident assistant in the dorm (residential leadership council)
Again, it's a smaller school so there aren't as many EC opportunities as I would like. No STEM related ones, which is a shame considering that's what I love to do.

Recs: One from my AP US teacher, most likely excellent. I did very well in the class, I love history and we talked a lot/shared book recommendations so he can give some insight into my personality. The other is from my physics teacher, and she told me herself that it's good.

My grandfather and my great grandmother (yeah!) went to Rice so I guess I'm a legacy, and my grandmother's best friend is a trustee of the university. When I told her I was applying there, she said her friend would write me a letter. I have no idea what this means for my chances. I think I want to go into either physics or chemistry, but I'm undecided.
Should I apply ED or RD? Thanks!

Anyone…?
