"Rich kid schools"

state schools generally dont count. besides, alabama is not a very wealthy state. of course, im sure most of the rich kids from bama would go there instead of some hosh posh northeastern school, so im sure it has a certain rich population. same with most of the south

most small liberal arts colleges, from friends i know who go there seem to be schools for rich kids who dont flaunt it, although there are always a few...
btw, tack up American on that rich list...

hmm.. lets see here I don't. There were various friends of mine using my username on this site and that may have caused the confusion. I believe I have explained this situation already. Now everyone else has their own username.

Dunkaroo and Carrera, just so you know I spent my entire 9th/10th grade years salivating over the upper-class European machines you guys are talking about. It was to my understanding the turbo X50 pack had the fastest 1/4 of the given year (11.9s?), other than raw speed it's handling capacity was outperformed by even the lesser expensive GT3. Carrera, your dad is one lucky man to be waitlisted on something like that. I've heard 0-60 figures of 3.5 with the proper packaging (not to mention they've enhanced the racier feel within the 'cockpit' so to speak). They are also much more flamboyant imo, but who the hell cares.

But, If I'm LUCKY AS HELL I'll get a 944 by senior year. Give me 15-20 years and I'll be in your club, however, so let this be a special shoutout to your blatant elitism (ahem, by birth status) on a forum board. BTW, what colleges do you go to or have been accepted to?

funny .

Hey George you know what is even better. The brand new Ferrari F430. It has design cues pulled right from the Enzo (Ferrari's Supercar). I think that will be my next ride. Hey Carrera you HAVE to take a look at that one. The car is gorgeous and also so icnredibly fast.

Hey Carrera it just occured to me that we have a lot of similarities.

We both drive Turbo's

Your dad is the CEO of a big Fortune 500 company

My dad founded a company that is worth somewhere in the 9 figures.

We like CC and are smart people.

Oh yeah we also belong to that so called "club" referred to by George.

Just wanted to make you aware as it was quite interesting.

yeah because I might drive a nice car and have some money call me retarded... why don't you call Carrera that too.

GeorgeS... the Turbo X50 won the fastest 0-100-0 two years ago. Beating Vipers and Lamborghinis and Ferraris. It did get a 11.89 1/4 mile time, but the Enzo is faster than that. The GT3 is a track machine, and beats the turbo on the Nurburgring. I will be going to the NAIAS Black Tie event, so I will finally get to see what the F430 looks like in person.

The 944 is an amazong car. I want to buy a pristene 944, and then put a 500 HP modified Porsche engine in there. It would be one mean driving machine.

I applied to 13 schools... will find out what I get into on April 1st.

yeah because I might drive a nice car and have some money call me retarded... why don't you call Carrera that too.

lol 'MIGHT' drive a nice car... but dont

and carrera does

hey Oels cut the nonsense please. I'm not here to argue about if I do drive a Porsche turbo or not because I do. If I wanted to I can buy as many as I want but that's not the point... Hey Carrera that F430 is supposed to be ridiculously fast. I think the 60 sprint is in like 3.7 and it does a quarter mile in the mid 11's. Now imagine modifying that baby!!

I'm not here to argue about if I do drive a Porsche turbo or not because I do. If I wanted to I can buy as many as I want but that's not the point...

haha, u can buy as many as you want (in your head) ... keep posing

yeah stop being jealous :) I'm happy for you if you have one or want to have one. Just stop arguing about if I drive a Porsche Turbo because this arguement will go nowhere.

If Dunkaroo says he has a Porsche, than lets just leave it at that... its not like we really care.

Anyways, the F430 has been tested to go 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. It is the second quickest ferrari ever produced (right behind the enzo).

Yikes then they have an official murcielago catcher

But don't tell that to Lamborghini fan boys. They might go and cry to mommy, lol

lol they will be wondering how their supposed unstoppable quarter million dollar italian exotic got beat!!!

If I wanted to I can buy as many as I want

haha my my aren't you a pretentious little ***. You should rephrase that to say "daddy can buy as many as he wants". (assuming you are being truthful) But on that assumption...
As a point of etiquette, you shouldn't be so infatuated and egotistical about your parent's wealth, especially on an online message board. Believe me it isn't as impressive as you think it is. I can say with confidence (without knowing who they are) that I personally know quite a few people who have more money than your parents... and they are all much more modest about it.

Anyway, that was bothering me, and now I've said my piece - flame away.

yes Icarus I know there are people with more money you don't have to make me aware of that fact. The reason I said that was because Mr. Oels kept repeating his same nonsense over and over again that I don't drive a Porsche Turbo. I'm very modest about my money and am not the one to go around telling everyone how much I have. When you have people like Oels it is fine to use it to shut them up when they are getting on your nerves about such dumb things.

Oh yeah you missed one thing while you were trying to tell me that this world consists of billionaires.

"I'm not here to argue about if I do drive a Porsche turbo or not because I do. If I wanted to I can buy as many as I want but that's not the point... " do you see that little that's not the point.

Next time you go after me being pretentious read the ENTIRE post (it might help)

oh i noticed the "thats not the point" - but if it really wasn't the point, it didn't need saying in the first place... what did that second sentence add to your argument? nothing. It was merely a way to brag.
and i really wasn't at all trying to imply that the world consists of billionaires - if you were to reread my post, you might see that haha.

I drive a 91 4-runner and i'm proud of it. When i nudge another car when im parking, i dont relaly care... since my car is a big hunk of metal. If i had a Porsche 911 turbo and i nudged a car in front of me with it, id cry for a bit. When i go to college, I'll be driving my mom's Toyota 2003 CamryV6. Its a comfortable car and no one is going to try to steal it. When I have money, I'm going to buy a 94 miata, put a mustang 5.0 engine (yes an older mustang 5.0 enginer) in it and kick all of your asses in the quarter or any race. (this has been done, my dad saw a miata with a mustang 5.0 engine getting checked for emissions standards.. my dad is a car mechanic.)
