rich kids at Boarding school?

My friend at Duke University remarks that no college in the U.S. is preppier than Lawrenceville. I have no way of confirming this, but just some fft.

OP- My bottom line is this: Don’t judge anyone on how they dress or how much money they have and you’ll be fine. Don’t let preconceived notions ( about this stuff) rule the day or cloud your experience. I think you’ll find that most BS kids are very easy going and would give you the pink shirt off their back.

If you’re going to judge someone- get to know them first and judge them on their character. None of this other stuff really matters. If you come across an insufferable snob - do what everyone else does: Smile and ignore them.

^^^Yes, and don’t forget to bring YOUR pink shirt to school.

As someone (might’ve actually been @ChoatieMom‌) mentioned on a thread a while ago, you’ll all have the same sweatshirt anyway. ;)

Do you guys think these instances are more likely @ Deerfield? Also has this ever happened to anyone at a girls boarding school? Thanks! :)

@GMTplus7 You should consider talking to the administration about it.

This happened a long time ago, they can’t change that they’d like wealthier families attend.

@mrnephew I just realized that,too late to delete it now. :-"

No kid is “rich”. Their parents might be but they aren’t.

True =D>

^^^Refer to posts #11 and #13.

WOW !!! I am offended on so many levels!!
Can you imagine a post ; Kids on FA will they be nice to my child ??
or kids on FA do they steal ?? Do they know how to behave?? Will they drag my kid down??
The harsh reality is these schools were built for the wealthy by the wealthy!!!
If you think on it further FA is a gift from the wealthy to the underprivileged !!!
Concentrate on getting great grades in high school so you can get into a great college.
