Rich Kids University

I want to attend a university with many rich kids that also have a good party scene. Which of the following schools fit me the best?

U of Virginia vs UCLA vs BC vs U of Connectitut vs USB vs UNC Chapel Hill vs UMASS vs Miami University, Ohio?

Here’s an [economic diversity ranking](http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/rankings/national-universities/economic-diversity/spp+50/src+stats) ranking. Schools with a lower percent of Pell Grant recipients typically have students from richer backgrounds. You could also join organizations which cater to rich students, such as a skiing club (particularly at schools where the nearest slopes are a good two plus hours away).

I’m curious.

Do you want to go to a school with a lot of “rich kids” because you have a lot of money, and want to be only with other rich kids, or do you want to go to a school with a lot of “rich kids” because you think it will rub off on you?

^^^^^That.

If the former, then wow. God forbid you should mix with people from a different socio-economic class.

What is USB?

SMU is another rich kids school.
Also: The Ivies (Dartmouth, Princeton etc)

Presumably he means UCSB.

Look at Trinity in CT

You’ll fit right at home at SMU.

UCLA is not full of rich kids. More than 30% of students receive the Pell Grant.

Here are some schools:
College of William and Mary
University of Virginia
University of Delaware
Carnegie Mellon University

From OP’s previous posts in 2011, he should have completed his junior year of college already…I think this golfer is having a little fun…unless he left school and is looking to return with new criteria!

I toured High Point University which was secretly a rich kid’s Disneyland.

university of miami (the one in florida). out of the ones you listed, uva fits your “rich kids, good parties” description the best.

High Point U, where all the dumb but rich white girls go equipped with a Mercedes Benz and daddy’s credit card.

I’d add USC, also known as the University of Spoiled Children.

^USC is one of the most generous universities in America. So im not sure about “University of Spoiled Children”.
My say would be NYU

Or read the recent piece on GW in DC

USC is a rich kid’s university when compared to its cross town rival, UCLA. Apart from that it ranks well in terms of economic diversity of the better private schools. However, like with most of the top publics and privates, it’s loaded with rich kids.

Ivy league schools, George Washington, John Hopkins, Vanderbilt, Tulane, University Tulsa, Southern Methodist, Duke, Auburn Clemson. id say the average Private research University has the highest concentration of of “rich” kids. Also what do you consider rich? by “rich kids” you probably mean kids with rich parents but what do you define as rich? net worth of 1 million? or 3 million? or +5 million? yearly income of what 100k, 300k, or 7 figures plus? some of the schools I listed the kids aren’t really that rich they just have upper middle class parents and have loans/debt themselves.

If you want to find a school with wealthy people so you can submerse yourself in their lifestyle cause either A) you are rich yourself and don’t want to mix or B) you want it to rub off on you

Do specify

Why not just dress up with clothes from Forever 21 every weekend and go to a high class bar and get wasted? Maybe that will help you feel a little bit more important for a few hours.

That is until someone realizes your whole outfit only cost roughly $40.

Oh and maybe speak with a French accent? ;)
