<p>I am wondering whether U Richmond is a good bet for me. I just visited it and loved it.</p>

<p>Hey Rik! I think your stats and numbers fit very well into UR. It is a great school. My D will start her Freshman year in a couple of weeks. She was accepted ED. Your SAT is higher than hers while her grades are a little higher than yours. You have more AP scores than she did. I think her ECs and a great essay really set her apart from other comparable students. I believe UR really looks for diversity and well rounded students - more than just doing well in school. Work on a great essay and I think you have a very good shot!</p>

<p>My standard disclaimer - I hate “chancing” but I know a little bit about Ur from two years of researching and going through the application and admission process with my daughter. But, I am not in the Admissions Office nor do I have any inside knowledge on what UR wants or looks for. Don’t let others give you false hope or dash dreams if they don’t have any direct knowledge of what they are talking about! </p>
