Richmond Undergraduate Business Ranked Among Best in U.S.

Hello,

Just thought any prospective student considering coming to Richmond's undergradute business school might be interested in the BusinessWeek's first-ever rankings of U.S. undergraduate business programs. The publication has released the schools in that made the top 25, and, of course, Richmond is among them.

Exact rankings will be released on 4/27, but (according to a BusinessWeek readers' poll) Richmond is ranked #1 (60%) and UPenn #2 (25%). I doubt Richmond will be ranked #1 in BusinessWeek's official rankings, but probably close to it.

Other schools (in no particular order) include: Boston College, Notre Dame, MIT, Chicago, Cornell, UC-Berkley, Virginia, Washington (St. Louis), NYU, Wake Forest...

Very interesting, dizzle. What's BWeeks methodology for this? I don't subscribe.

The rankings are based on several measures of academic quality, such as faculty-student ratios, average SAT scores, acceptance rate at top MBA programs, starting salaries, etc. When BusinessWeek's Thursday issue comes out, I'm sure it'll offer details on the exact methodology.
