Riddle for you

One night a father and son were driving in the car when an accident occurred and the father died on the spot. The son was brought to the nearest hospital by ambulance, whereupon on arrival an ER doctor exclaimed, "That's my son!"

How can this be?

the doctor is the mother

or the father died that died on the spot was a step dad and the doctor could have been his biological dad

im gonna go with lampark

Same..I'll go with lampark.

Also, the way the riddle was phrased, you could easily say the father in the car was not the father of the son, but the father of another individual (ie like a friend's dad), and coincidentally, the son's father could have been the doctor.

yup you guys are right. an english teacher at school asked us and the whole class came up with stories like 'the mother had an affair' and stuff, because everyone assumed the doctor was a male.
