<p>Trying to figure out laundry dollars to put on action card for the fall. How much does it cost per washer and dryer load? Are they standard top loaders or the larger capacity front loaders?</p>
<p>Front load washers and dryers. Last year D paid $1.25/load to wash or dry. She did two to three loads per week.</p>

<p>My S spent less than $100 on laundry last year. Several people have noted how <em>hot</em> the dryers are, so beware. I never put more than $20 on the Action Card at a time in case of loss (which happened) or misuse (which fortunately did not). There is no fee to make a credit card payment to the card as a way of loading $ onto it. Action Card can be used for printing services at libraries and many other small things on campus, which surprisingly add up. For those parents who think their students may burn through the account quickly, best to have a discussion about this before starting school.</p>
