My student is moving into RCS- South Tower in Fall. I’m trying to get some measurements that I haven’t found on internet-. I HAVE seen the ones on College Confidential and the UA Housing site. Housing said that they couldn’t give any more specific information and referred to me to their website. (not helpful ). Any information (or even educated guesses) would be appreciated since I won’t be able to measure for myself at Bama Bound.

  1. Student will be in a suite, room A, on the corner of the building. From the tiny floorplan pdf that we got, it it looks like it A has a “bump out” on the corner to the left of the window. Does anyone know or have a guess as to usable space is on each wall in this unit or any A unit?

  2. About how deep are the closets?

  3. What is the measurement from the top of the window to the floor?

  4. What is the depth and width of the “nook” behind the door in A (and D)?

  5. What is the width, depth and height of the space underneath the last shelf in the bathroom?

  6. what color is the paint?

Any measurements that I haven’t thought of would also be appreciated!
