Ridiculous

Well,to start off I have had no previous experience with the ACT. And since the the school is forcing everyone to take the Pre-Act this Wednesday... I decided to take some practice tests.

A coupe of my observations
-since their is no penalty for wrong answers... I should answer every question...
-Reading any of the words in the science section is worthless... just look at the questions, and graphs, or observations they want you to look at
-The math section does not give you sufficient amount of time on each problem....
-The reading section just sucks... they give you 35 minutes for you answer 40 questions.. *** ( I can never really seem to finish the fourth reading section - reading it/answering questions in time) (this has never happened to me before) ( I am a slow reader but still!)

ANY TIPS FOR THIS PROBLEM^ ????

OR COULD YOU GIVE ME ANY TIPS IN GENERAL?

It's the PLAN test, relax. It doesn't mean anything for admissions.

I think you're on the right track about the sections. The biggest problem of the ACT/PLAN is running out of time.

Don't second guess yourself on the science. You end up wasting precious time needed to complete it.

i agree with IlDesi on that matter except in math. i didnt have trouble finishing the math section but on any section you have trouble finishing-be very consistent and cautious with time. dont waste time confirming right answer choices if you have the opportunity to get more right!

but if you have spare time in any other section, i definitely recommend going over problems and (especially on math and science) NOT doing everything in your head. good luck
